After Day 2, the difference between first place and 15th place in the AFTCO Bassmaster Elite at the St. Johns River was 15 pounds, 1 ounce. But that has tightened up considerably today. The gap between first and 15th is only 5 pounds, 4 ounces now, according to BassTrakk. That means two things: 1) The 10th place battle to see who advances to fish Sunday’s final is going to come down to ounces at today’s weigh-in; and 2) Every angler who makes the final tomorrow is going to have a shot to win.
