Tide, leaderboard changing

Justin Lucas remains the leader and behind him a shuffle is happening in the BASSTrakk standings.

Bill Lowen, now in second place, is followed in the standings by Clifford Pirch and Keith Combs. None of those anglers made the official Top 10 yesterday, bringing truth to a prediction made earlier by Mark Zona about a shakeup in the standings for Day 2.

Still hanging in there are Luke Clausen, Andy Montgomery and Brent Ehrler.

We don’t know details about Lowen, although he is a skilled junk fisherman. What we do know is the leaders going into today all fished stationary. The are moving but only to get into position for the right tide on a given area.

The other option is running the tide. There is a mix of that going on but clearly the best strategy thus far is staying put after getting into position for that all-critical feeding window during the tide shifts.
