I talked with Mueller as he was prepping to move again. When asked what changed overnight, he chuckled.
“Well, it wasn’t that good yesterday,” he said in reference to the sparse number of bites.
He said the cloud cover probably hasn’t helped, but he was considering changing from fishing creek ledges and jumps, as he did yesterday.
“Here’s the thing: Somebody’s catching them somewhere,” Mueller said. “I’ve got to do something different.”
He said he was going to check one or two ledges, and then move to offshore grass.
