Matt Arey has just taken the unofficial lead in BassTrakk. After a vicious blow up on his frog that missed. And catching a short. He was able to hook up and land a 1 1/2 pounder that should slip him past Cherry.
Obviously a lot of time left. But it should be noted, even if it doesn’t last, that Arey has lead a part of the final day.
But he’s on a bank that has produced two keepers for about 5 pounds collectively and missed another good one in just the last hour or so.
It’s obviously very slow for the field. If it stays that way, Arey’s slow day may be the ticket.
