Short wait

Bobby Lane gave us a short wait before catching his fourth keeper. Looked to be about 1 1/4.

That moves him up another spot, but also indicates he’s around a few fish are the fish are starting to bite.

He’s tucked well into the reeds and hitting every target in front of him. The reeds are also giving him a break from the wind. It’s blowing steady, close to 20 mile an hour steady.

He’s right there in striking distance of over taking the lead. One 3 1/2-pounder would get him there and his whole day will a template of how this event could play out: A couple of good fish in the morning followed by four hours of nothing, followed by a couple decent fish, followed by a grind to catch a good one to lead or win.
