Elite Series rookie Pat Schlapper of Eleva, Wis., clinched his third straight top 50 cut yesterday when he finished Day 2 in a 29th-place tie with a total of 15-8. Schlapper is off to a solid start this morning with the 2-9 pictured here and another keeper. After missing the cut, finishing 67th at the season opener on the St. Johns River, Schlapper was 27th at the Tennessee River in Knoxville and 39th at Pickwick Lake.
