Once Brandon Cobb sped off, we switched over to Tyler Rivet.
Rivet had a decent day yesterday with almost 16 pounds. But he’s struggling today.
He’s got two in the well at the moment. But that doesn’t tell the story of his whole day.
He caught his weight yesterday in a hurry. Then was unable to cull the rest of the day.
This morning he tried to duplicate but lost two 4-pounders. That was in the river. With two keepers in the well, he ran to Ontario.
There he caught several in the 2-pound range. Fearing they would not survive the day and knowing he needed bigger fish to move, he didn’t fill out his limit. He did lose a 3-plus.
Now he’s back in the river trying to hit “random” places in hopes of catching what he needs.
