Tyler Rivet went into today in 52nd place with 15-10, all caught in the St. Lawrence River.
And he said he felt confident he could do that again, but he chucked that plan to head into Lake Ontario.
“I came out here one day of practice and had a 21-pound day,” he said. “I didn’t get many bites, but they were all big.”
The day has yet to go as plan, though.
“I had a ledge over there that I threw back a limit on because I don’t need 12-inchers. I probably caught 30 fish.”
So far he has just two bass in the livewell, one over 4 pounds and another just over 1 pound.
