Brett Pruett needed a good tournament at the Sabine River. He hasn’t been close to making the two-day cut in the three previous Elite Series events this season. The Monroe, La., pro is having exactly that.
“I needed it,” Pruett said this morning on “Bassmaster Live Mix.” “I’ve been in a slump.”
Pruett caught his fifth keeper just before 10 o’clock. He finished Day 2 in a tie for 15th place with 18-4. His early limit today has him up to 10th place on BassTrakk.
