After one hour and 50 minute fog delay for the anglers, Day 1 has officially started. We followed Falcon Rods Bassmaster Opens Angler of the Year point leader Jacob Powroznik to his first spot not too far from takeoff.
As soon as he set up his position he picked up his first keeper. He confirmed that first fish weighed about 3 pounds. He is seeing lots of fish around him, but he wants boat traffic to be settle down since there are still anglers passing by his area.
