Palmer culled and climbing

Palmer has just culled and he’s climbing a bit. During that culling process I saw two fish that together would weigh close to 6 1/2 to 7 pounds.  He’s added a 2-pounder and chunked back a 1 1/2-pounder, so we are guessing he’s close to the teens.

The weight, though, probably isn’t weighing on him and these other anglers in the Cooper River as much as the wind is.  It’s gassing right now. And that promises an extremely uncomfortable and risky ride home.  All of them had mentioned the ride over this morning as “pretty rough.” An increase in wind speed by as little as 5 mph and possibly as much as 10 ensures there will be no “pretty” in the descriptions of the return trip.
