Brandon Palaniuk looks to be repeating the Day 2 rally he staged a month ago at the St. Lawrence River. It was there when he jumped from 72nd place (15-15) on Day 1 to 9th place on Day 2 with 25-0.
He was 47th yesterday, so guess where BASSTrakk shows him now? Ninth place, of course, just like at the St. Lawrence. Granted, Palaniuk is a long way from finishing in 9th place today, but he’s back in Lake St. Clair after venturing north earlier. If he re-locates the school where he supposedly caught 23 pounds on one practice pass, Palaniuk will sleep much better than he did last night.
