Brandon Palaniuk just put a 4-pound bass in his livewell. That gives him an early 5-fish limit of 16-2 in BassTrakk, which has him in second place. The 4 pounder is his big bass, with a 2-4 being his small.
Palaniuk is fishing shallow on the inside and outside of a small pocket. “This area was dry three days ago,” he said.
One of the cool new features in Basstrakk this year is you can see how every keeper impacts an angler’s standings in AOY. The 4-pounder moved Palaniuk into second place in AOY. Those standings are not final until the tournament is finished.
