Brandon Palaniuk was in a three-way tie 80th place after Day 1, but he’s been climbing since. The 2017 Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year squeaked into the Top 50 cut yesterday in 47th place.
Palaniuk is up to 4th place today, according to BASSTrakk, with a limit weighing 11-10 this morning already. While he’s unlikely to stay that high in the standings by the end of the day, an 11-pound, 10-ounce bag would have been the 9th biggest bag weighed yesterday. And he’s got a lot of time left to improve it.
