But here’s the deal: Jacob Powroznik left his cell phone on the table in the Timberlake Lodge breakfast room this morning. Mercer found it, put it in his coat pocket and got in his vehicle to drive to Pokegama Lake.
Here’s the kicker: Mercer then sent a text message to Powroznik saying, “Hey, bro, I got your phone.”
Mercer was instantly notified when Powroznik’s phone dinged in Mercer’s pocket, signalling the text message.
