We caught up with Mike McClelland. He has to be one of the favorites in this event. And he quickly showed us why.
He already has a limit for the day and was culling when we pulled up on him. Catching fish hasn’t been a problem for him. But he knows he needs to work on the size. We weren’t on him long before he pulled up stakes and headed up the river. Too far of a jog for us to follow.
The day is getting warmer and the fish seem to be picking up on the biting side of things as well. And the temperature is still rising.
