Marinas could play

Cherry said marinas could play a role in this event.

“Bass are utilizing that shade,” he said. “ They’re just cruising that shade looking for bait.”

The great thing about marinas is they keep fish that are roaming sort of hemmed in to a general area.

“Those fish can run up shallow, and then they can come right back out to deeper water,” Cherry said.

That means an angler can work a marina thoroughly and eventually put a bait in front of a feeding bass.
