Just two weeks before the 2022 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Huk takes place at beautiful Lake Hartwell, youth anglers from the Anderson, SC. area took part in a clean up competition at Green Pond Landing and the surrounding area.
Six groups of high school and college fishing teams gathered on February 19, 2022, and collected a whopping 3,100 pounds of trash in just four hours.
Emmanuel College anglers (pictured below) won the challenge by gathering 804 pounds of trash.
