Dave Lefebre shared that with me during an interview after he weighed in. Lefebre had just weighed 18 pounds, 4 ounces, to take 7th place.
“Tomorrow (Day 2) I am going to concentrate on making changes to keep fish on the hook.”
Lefebre went on to tell me that he boat-swung a 5-pounder and at least two or more 4-pounders and lost those fish at boatside.
Whatever adjustments he made are working. BASSTrakk shows him in the lead with 14 pounds in the livewell.
