Jeff Kriet scrapped through the morning with a limit that included only one bass over 2 pounds. Kriet started the day in 35th place, so he needed a change in fortune this afternoon if he was going to make the Top 50 cut.
Kriet got just that at 1:21 with a 5-pound, 10-ounce bass. It bumped him up to 12-14 on the day and into 15th place. It was also an early birthday present. Kriet turns 49 years old tomorrow.
