“I’ve got a shot now”

Mike Huff made this afternoon’s weigh-in very interesting at 3:18 p.m. That’s when he dragged about five pounds of vegetation and 3 1/2 pounds of bass into his boat. The bass allowed him to cull a 1 1/2-pounder and puts him in a virtual tie with Lee Livesay.
“That was huge!” Huff shouted. “I’ve got a shot now.”
Huff left the Tennessee River, where he caught most of his weight today, including a 7-pounder, to move closer to the check-in site and do some last minute frog fishing. It paid off in a big way.
None of the top 10 anglers are able to look at BASSTrakk, so they have no idea what anybody else has caught today. In fact, Livesay has been speculating that Stetson Blaylock has a big bag today, which he does not.
