We’ve made it over to Louisiana pro, Derek Hudnall, and he’s in an area that’s been very good to him this week. Hudnall has the spinning rod out and the wacky worm working this morning where he’s got three fish in the box for roughly six pounds.
Since we’ve arrived, Hudnall has boated a non-keeper and had a nice bite on a jig that ate the legs off his trailer. By his own admission, there seems to be more activity shallow this morning than in the last few days but the Skeeter Yamaha Pro is locked in on the cypress trees where he knows the big ones are set up.
