Brett Hite was out of BASSTrakk service for much of the morning, so the 7-pound, 10-ounce bass he caught at 9:56 just posted. He’s added to it with a couple of 3-pounders around 12:30 that have vaulted Hite into the unofficial lead with 19-6.
Wonder what lure Hite is throwing this morning? It’s hardly a secret that Hite is the king of the Chatterbait. And he’s done it on Toledo Bend before. Hite closed Day 4 last year with a 25-pound, 7-ounce bag – the biggest of the day – to jump from 12th place and finish 7th, thanks primarily to a bladed jig.
