Jeff Gustafson has shown just how quickly you can get well at Santee Cooper. With just two bass – both minutes apart near 12:30 – Gustafson has jumped from down in the pack to inside the top five, according to BASSTrakk.
Gustafson landed a 7-pounder at 12:29 and a 3-8 at 12:36. He’s now got the biggest bag of the day, and 10-8 of his 18-0 came quick, quick. Gustafson started the day in 34th place with 12-15 on Day 1.
