Jeff Gustafson is a happy man. He is married to the spot where he’s caught the smallmouth bass that have kept him in the lead for two days in this tournament. He doesn’t have any place else to go. And the bass are still there.
“They’ve restocked!” shouted Gustafson to the observer boats around him as he put his first keeper smallmouth in the boat.
And he’s already added two more at 8:10 a.m.
