When David Fritts weighed in on Day 1 with 11-9 for 54th place he was probably a little disappointed. But he got a nice surprise right afterwards. Fritts learned he will be inducted into the Bass Fish Hall of Fame this fall. The 1993 Classic winner and famed lure designer told fans he recently wondered if he would ever make it into the BFHOF. Congratulations, David! Representatives from the Hall presented him with cupcakes, and he posed (center) for photos with fellow BFHOF member, Rick Clunn (left) and Dave Precht (right).
The class of 2019 also includes: Davy Hite, Mark Davis, Ed Chambers and Chris Armstrong.
