It’s 51 degrees at 10 a.m. on Lake Martin, after a warmup from the 30s this morning. Interestingly, it’s not going to get any cooler than 51 degrees the remainder of the weekend, not even at night, according to the forecast.
The high and the low for Saturday are predicted to be 69 and 60. with a high of 68 on Sunday. The forecast also includes plenty of rain over the weekend.
“The warm nights are the key,” said B.A.S.S. tournament director Trip Weldon, who is also a veteran Lake Martin tournament angler. “This is what we die for early in the spring – warm nights and muddy water.”
