This spot on the Elk River where Edwin Evers has done his damage today may be new waters to most Classic competitors and to bass fishing fans, but Evers and his extended family have been here often. His father-in-law, Terry Butcher, has won three boats and a truck in this area. And his son, Terry, has won Redmans here.
“It’s known by others too,” said the senior Butcher. “But we may have more confidence in it than others.”
