Brent Ehrler started his day with a game-changer – a 7-pound, 10-ounce largemouth bass. By 9:35 he had four keepers weighing 11-6, which has him in 10th place. But Ehrler just lost a heart-breaker, which would have vaulted him near the top of the leaderboard, according to Gettys Brannon.
Ehrler had what appeared to be a 6-pounder near the boat when it came unhooked. But he’s obviously around some big fish. You may recall that Ehrler had the big bass – a 9-1 – and won the new Toyota Tundra truck that went with it at last year’s Texas Fest on Sam Rayburn.
