An early morning fog rolling over will delay the Basspro.com Bassmaster Central Open at Lewis Smith Lake momentarily. If looking closely in the background of the image, you can see the wall of the Smith Lake Dam. The cool water running through the dam is causing fog to roll over the dam and settle on the lake. At the moment, the fog is continuing to build. With the boat access being right up against the dam, this will cause the delay to last until the sun peaks out, or some wind rolls through.
