Toyota Angler of the Year and Rookie of the Year leader Drew Cook is fishing up the Pee Dee River and has three fish for just more than 4 pounds, with his anchor being a 1.1-pounder.
“The thing is, that’s a pretty good fish,” Cook said of his heaviest bass. “Those 1- to 2-pound bass are nice fish.
“And if you get that 3-pounder, then you’re in business.”
Basstrakk currently shows Cook in 16th, just less than 5 pounds behind leader Rob Digh.
