For all the talk about Lake Mille Lacs fishing tougher this year, Keith Combs has already proven that it’s still pretty darned good. Combs had a limit weighing an estimated 20 pounds, 4 ounces at 7:08 a.m., less than 30 minutes after the 6:40 takeoff time.
His catches went like this: a 4-pounder at 6:56, a 4-0 at 7:01, a 3-12 at 7:02, a 4-8 at 7:06 and a 4-0 at 7:08.
