After blanking on their first spot of the day, Bond and Compton have returned to the area they caught the bulk of their weight yesterday. So far, they estimate they have 15 pounds and two of there fish came in a 10 minute time frame.

They filled out their limit about 9:20 with a 3-and-a-half-pounder.

Compton and Bond have been drifting over two specific humps, narrowing down the specific current breaks the smallmouth are located on as they go.

Bond said so far today, the current is a little slower in the area than it was yesterday. He added they would like to fill out their limit before moving to some of their other spots.

The Clemson pair have several more spots that set up like the area they are currently in and Compton said they are hoping to save them for a little while longer.
