Brandon Card has spent his morning making one 50-yard drift, over and over.
And it’s paid off in a big way.
“I’ve got four over four and one about 3 1/2,” Card said. “And I jumped one off that would have really helped.
“If I can make one more cull I’ll have a good bag.”
He’s fishing a stretch of the St. Clair River that is an idle zone, and it seems every boat in the area passes through the area.
Several boats have idled right over Card’s stretch. But he just smiled.
“These fish are used to a bunch of boat traffic,” he said.
