Early reports from Grand Lake indicate that this will be a wild one – an all-day rollercoaster. As the sun gets higher, the fishing is going to get better. Gettys Brannon is following Jacob Wheeler, who started the day in third place. Brannon reports that Wheeler marked a bunch of spawning beds yesterday and has already marked some more today. While BASSTrakk currently shows Wheeler with only two 2 1/2-pounders in the boat, he’s not concerned. There is lots of prime real estate to exploit before this day is done.
