Plenty of fish have been caught in the first four hours on Pickwick Lake this morning. But you ain’t seen nothing yet – probably. The sun is out, the temperature has warmed from the mid 40s to mid 50s on its way to a predicted high of 62 degrees. It’s the first official day of spring.
“I think (Saturday) morning will be kind of slow just because of the cool nights,” Matt Herren said yesterday. “Typically, in the springtime of the year, it’s an 11 o’clock to 3 o’clock deal.”
The first of four flights checks in at 3 p.m. today; the fourth flight is due at 4:15.
