David Williams has made his first appearance in the top 10 at the SiteOne Bassmaster Elite on Harris Chain. The North Carolina pro has a solid limit of 15 pounds on BassTrakk, with his largest coming in at 4-1.
His smallest is 2-4 and like a lot of folks around him has a decent path of moving up, just by hooking into one of those Florida giants.
Williams is no stranger to these events, despite him being classified as a newcomer this season. Many will remember Williams as an Elite Pro from 2015 to 2017, where he had flashes of brilliance but never quite got over the hump. He left the Elites and went to FLW where he quickly became a hot item with a lot of success.
This year he’s returned to the Elites after qualifying through the Southern Opens and in just his second event of the season he’s sitting pretty.
