Along with lots of miles, he and his brother Brian Mason, were in charge of setting up all the gear and equipment on virtually every shoot for JM Associates. His smile was a constant feature no matter where he was.

Mason was known for his toughness. It was hard to get him to take the easy way. Aaron Martens referred to him as his favorite cameraman and was brought to tears when the news came of Mason’s passing.
