NetBait B Bug
“This is good on finesse jigs; no heavier than 3/8 ounce, more like 1/4,” he said. “I’ll chop off the sides to slim it down a bit.”
NetBait Hardy Tack Craw
This odd-looking craw is the brainchild of Alabama pro Jim Hardy and NetBait owner Braxton McDonough. This is Vinson’s go-to when he wants a natural-looking craw imitator. “Jim’s gonna kill me for saying this, but I cut the swimming legs off of it and it looks just like a real crawfish,” he said. “It is good in clear water, high pressure situations and in cold water. It glides on the fall for a natural look.”
NetBait Salt Lick
This worm isn’t marketed as a trailer, but as a standalone worm that’s best fished weightless. However, Vinson won’t hesitate to hang one of these on a football or swim jig to give the fish a different look.
NetBait Kickin’ B Chunk
Vinson is fond of this trailer’s chunky body and swim tails. “This has a ton of action in a small bait,” Vinson said. “It’s good when the water temperature is high and it's hot out.” Vinson hangs it on both swim jigs and football jigs.
NetBait Paca Chunk Sr.
Vinson likes the larger Senior model of the Paca Chunk because it displaces a lot of water, and offers football and other heavy jigs a lot of appeal. “The claws on this thing go crazy when you drag it along,” he said.
