…that box brought tears to my eyes. In the corner down there on the box is the Tackle The Storm logo and that means that with every box sold of that line…

<p>I have no idea if there were 2,300 exhibitors or not, but there were a TON of them. I've been to 5 or 6 of these ICAST things now, and to tell you the truth, ICAST 2013 had the most positive feeling from the exhibitors of any of these things that I have been to, and I think that is great...gr<wbr>eat for the industry, but especially great for you.</wbr></p>
I have no idea if there were 2,300 exhibitors or not, but there were a TON of them. Got this shot of the smoke coming from the fires in the foothills around Las Vegas...pa<wbr>use a bit here to give a shout out to all those brave folks who fight these kind of fires...an<wbr>d take a second to say a prayer for those who give their lives while fighting forest fires.</wbr></wbr></p>

One quick story... very early one morning, I went to get into an elevator to go down to ICAST; when the elevator door opened, there were four Elvises standing in the elevator. I just stood there for a moment hoping it wasn't some sort of flashback until one of them said, "Come on in..." I did but it took about a day and a half to get over the initial shock.</p>

<p>...because I could barely look over the edge of the railing... look way down there at the bottom, you can hardly see it but way down there is a set of stairs and a doorway...<wbr>that will give you a perspectiv<wbr>e on how enormous this dam is.</wbr></wbr></p>

<p>That's the new bridge that crosses the river, it's 840 feet above the Colorado, the 2nd highest bridge in America and when Rich asked if I wanted to drive across it I said, "Ah, no thanks."</p>

<p>To me, this is my favorite shot of the entire week of ICAST. For me, it symbolizes grit, the ability to survive against all odds. For whatever reasons, for many people, for many industries<wbr>, especially in our biz, the last few years have been tough, but this ICAST showed me that new thinking, entreprene<wbr>urial thinking, and pure old fashion working stiff grit, can persevere.<wbr>..and that, in fact, may be the real Best of Show.</wbr></wbr></wbr></p>
To me, this is my favorite shot of the entire week of ICAST. For me, it symbolizes grit, the ability to survive against all odds.
