1. Koppers Live Target Golden Shiner
I like to use a 1/2-ounce Live Target Golden Shiner as a search lure, especially around hydrilla.
2. Koppers Hollow Body Frog
One of my favorites is the Live Target Hollow Body Frog. It works great when I’m finishing anywhere I’ve got a lot of pads or matted grass.
3. Jig with Z-Man Flappin' Crawz
I always keep a flipping jig tied on with a Z-Man Flappin Crawz on the back of it. That Z-Man bait floats really well and keeps the back end of the bait up.
4. Koppers Live Target Popper Frog
Another of my favorites is the Live Target Popper Frog really does a nice job of making that big bubble and that popping sound that triggers a lot of bites. I like it more for open water like a round docks and isolated cover.
5. Koppers Live Target Crawfish Crank
A square bill like a Live Target Crawfish Crank is another a great shallow bait. I use it more for when I am away from the grass searching.
