Northwest Bass

Year founded: 1999

Mission statement: Northwest Bass is a family friendly, highly competitive bass fishing organization headquartered in Spokane, Washington.  We draw anglers from all over the Northwest and tournaments are held on popular waters throughout the region.  Our events are always run with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.  Northwest Bass is owned and operated by Gary Stiles, a retired oil company operations and sales manager, and Lisa Stiles, a chemical engineer and former environmental consultant.

Our core Challenge Circuit is comprised of five to seven one-day qualifying tournaments culminating in a two-day Championship event.  Anglers compete throughout the season for cash payouts and merchandise, including a $35,000 fully rigged Triton Bass Boat at our Championship.  Our Challenge Tournament Circuit is dedicated to providing our anglers with the best tournament format and payout in the Northwest, while providing a tournament circuit that allows flexibility for busy schedules so that the maximum number of teams can compete in a challenging tournament format.

In addition to our regular angler base of over 600 anglers, Northwest Bass events are enjoyed by hundreds of residents living in communities in and around individual tournament staging areas.  It seems that all walks of life want to know “how the pro’s do it”.  Spectators are curious to see the tournament results each day and excited to expose young children to this wholesome sport, scheduling their day so that they can attend the event!  Northwest Bass

prides itself on flawless execution.  We strive to be the best in all aspects of our business.  After all, our anglers, spectators and customers deserve nothing less than the finest competitive angling experience.
