What does it do?
Rapala says this bait perfectly mimics a wounded, struggling baitfish as it hobbles along in shallow water or on the surface. However, if you crank the 05 model, it’ll dive to 4 feet, and the 07 will dive to 5 feet.
Why do I need it?
Because the Jointed Shad Rap has grown a diving bill, and this is the result.
How do I use it?
Ideally, one of two ways: You can cast it and crank it around shallow cover, or twitch it slowly along the surface, waiting for a bass to smack it silly. At all speeds, this critter wiggles and wobbles nonstop.
