What is it?

Terminator Walking Frog

What does it do?

Targets bass by imitating a frog, struggling baitfish, bird or other prey on top of the water.

How do I use it?

Hollow-bodied frog fishing has become a popular technique for anglers all over the country. Targeting big fish shallow has a certain appeal that tugs at the heartstrings of all bass fishermen. The Terminator Walking Frog is built to target bass around shallow cover. From grass to docks and brush to rocks, the Walking Frog is right at home anywhere a frog or other small animal might find itself stranded in the water. Accompany this bait with braided line and a strong rod and reel combo and take it to the shallows. The rod should have a soft tip so the bait is able to walk from side to side and can be skipped beneath overhanging cover.

What sets it apart?

The Terminator Walking Frog was designed by Elite Series pro Ott DeFoe to walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Most hollow-bodied frogs have weights near the rear, placed there to help the frog walk. By placing the weight even further back in a slightly longer frog, Terminator and DeFoe have created a frog that walks with very little effort. Moving the weight farther towards the rear of the bait also moves it farther from the hook, preventing the weight from hindering the hook up when the frog body compresses in a fish’s mouth. Terminator also incorporated a wide-gap heavy-duty two-prong VMC hook and a super soft body design. A modified drain near the rear of the bait doesn’t allow water in while in use but allows water to be squeezed out after a fish catch keeping this bait on top of the water where it belongs.
