Bondy Bait Co. Stub Grub

A super-durable and effective grub, goby or whatever!

What is it?

The Bondy Bait Co. Stub Grub.

What does it do?

It’s a very simple but very effective goby/burbot/whatever baitfish imitator. It’s Occam’s Razor applied to smallie leadhead fishing; the simplest idea (or in this case, bait) is the right one.

Why do I need it?

Because those smallies on rockpiles have seen every tube you own! Also, it’s designed by former Bassmaster Elite Series pro and bigwater guide Jon Bondy, a smallmouth and musky ace.

How do I use it?

Ideally, you thread it on a leadhead, like shown, and hop it around rocks or grass, or wherever the fish are holding. This will also work down bluff walls in Southern reservoirs. Use the same technique and slowly drag it down the wall into the strike zone.

What sets it apart?

The range of colors is very natural, and all sizes of flake are used in the pouring of the Stub Grub. Plus, they’re made of musky-grade plastic (like saltwater plastic for the Northern guys) so they’re highly durable. They’re 3 inches ling, are 5/8 inch in the center and taper to 1/2 inch at the head.

How much?

$3.49 per 10
