Tying a Uni knot

Aaron Martens shows you how to tie one of the strongest knots an angler can use, the Uni slip knot, more commonly referred to as a Uni knot.

One of the strongest knots an angler can use is the Uni slip knot, more commonly referred to as a Uni knot. I use a Uni slip knot the majority of the time when connecting a lure to my line. It works great on any type or size of line.

The advantages of the Uni knot are pretty simple. If it's not the strongest knot, it's definitely near the top of the list.  Secondly, it makes a really tight knot when tied correctly. Plus, once you get the hang of it, it's easy and fast to tie.

This is a two-part video. This week, I am going to show the single Uni slip knot; next week, I will show the double Uni slip knot.

Try this knot out, and you'll get more fish in the boat.
