Timmy Horton, one of the calmest, coolest guys on the water, just lost a 9-pounder. He busted that fish about the same time as yesterday when the first of a pair of 8-pounders came aboard his boat.
With the 9-pounder at the boat he chose to line grab the fish instead of lipping it. Pros know their trade but it seems against the grain to land a fish in open water, and of that size, using such a technique. Hopefully, Horton will make a comeback.
