Use snaps to save time

Aaron Martens shows one way to save some time on the water.

Saving time on the water can be the difference between winning and missing the cut. Gaining a few minutes throughout the course of the day can mean many more casts. Every additional cast you make is an added opportunity to increase your weight or fill your limit. One easy way to save time is by using quick snaps for lures.

I use these Fas-Snaps, which are available at Bass Pro Shops and other retailers, on most of my hard baits. They are especially handy when I am pre-fishing. The Fas-snaps not only allow me to change baits or colors quickly; they also allow the bait to move, in my opinion, better than a standard o-ring.

Be sure to remove the o-rings from your baits before using the Fas-Snaps and I think you'll love the time saving advantage and the action of your baits.
