Kevin VanDam is fishing for his fifth Bassmaster Classic title.

Mike McClelland won the Elite Series event held on Grand Lake in 2006, and is a pre-tournament favorite.

The cold front moving across Grand Lake had local waterfowl on the move. 

Ish Monroe started fishing close to the launch ramp, but didn’t pull his rods from the locker until he arrived at his first fishing spot. 

Monroe checked his line often for nicks caused from ice gathering in the eyes of his rods.

It wasn’t long before Ever’s boat deck was covered in snow.
