Weigh-ins are supposed to be simple: Angler walks to the stage, fish in a bag, hands them to the weighmaster and watches the scales before walking off with a smile on his face or his hands in his pockets.
The Classic weigh-in, though, is much more intense. There are tons of emotions swirling around this great event. Big fish can charge up an angler and make a crowd blow up with cheer. Heavy weights are a cause for celebration, and the guy walking up to the stage with a bag that can bump yours is a cause for worry.
Here are some of James Overstreet’s more memorable shots of Classic weigh-ins past.
